Abby and Brendan live down in California, but they have family here in Oregon and decided to get married in our beautiful city! They found me through one of my favorite indoor venues in the heart of Portland's Pearl District called Urban Studio. These two are super laid back and aren't super comfortable being the center of attention, and they wanted the same for their wedding day- no bridal party, a quick ceremony to make it official, and then a party with all of their loved ones. They enlisted the help of Luxe Event Productions to bring that vision to life, and it was a TOTAL success!!
Abby and Brendan started their day getting ready surrounded by their closest friends and family around the corner at the Hampton Inn and Suites, whose rooftop patio served as the perfect spot for their first look with 360 degree views of downtown Portland and many of our amazing bridges. From there, it was a quick and scenic walk to their venue, and we were able to finish their couple portraits on the way.
Their ceremony setup was classically simple, with a candlelit altar and floating greenery install over their aisle. They said their "I Do's," and then after some group photos outside as the sun went down, they made it official with Abby's grandmother and Brendan's brother serving as their witnesses. Dinner was served by the always amazing Pearl Catering, and after they were toasted by their friends and family, they danced the night away!
