I first met Eva and Grant in January of 2018 at a little coffee shop off of Stark. They were looking for a wedding photographer for their upcoming destination wedding in Newport, Oregon (which ended up being an absolute dream). Now here we are 3 years later, and they're expecting their first child!

We decided on the beautiful Jenkins Estate in Beaverton as the location for their maternity session, and were blessed with the most incredible weather that day, complete with a perfect golden hour. Anyone local to the Pacific Northwest knows that a dry, sunny day in April is a pretty special event. Everything was in peak bloom, from the extensive collection of Oregon rhododendrons to the field of bluebells under the giant old pines. If you haven't been to Jenkins Estate, it's a beautiful public park just outside of the city of Portland with some of the most beautiful grounds I've ever stepped foot on. Spring is when it's at its finest, and absolutely worth the drive.

We started close to the parking lot and wandered the path through the rhododendrons, working our way up the hill to a field of daisies. Then we stopped by the main house for a few photos on that historic porch, and behind to the tea house with the little wooden bridge. We ended our session amongst the trees, with the last sliver of daylight dramatically dancing through their trunks to give us the most magical (and dare I say magazine-worthy) maternity photos possible.

Thank you SO much you two, for always trusting my vision and letting me tell your story! I am so excited for you all, and can't wait to meet your newest little love soon!
